Secure Data Removal

This is often more important to our clients than any other issue. In this day of identity theft and brand protection
any data removal system that is not 100% secure offers no security at all. Many companies promise to remove
data when in fact all they will do is format the drive and reload the operating system – this is never sufficient. We
use a leading hard disk utility that is UK Goverment verified (the CESG-verified Blancco software).

Removal of all Company Markings

It is not uncommon for companies to mark their hardware for loss protection, asset tracking or even brand identity.
Once the hardware has been tested and all data removed we thoroughly clean the items and removal all PAT
testing stickers, any labels or badges that could in anyway identify the original owner. The last thing an overstretched
IT department needs is a random user phoning up with comments like "can you help me reload my OS on this Mac
I purchased from eBay!?!".
